Hospital Ministry

- Thank you for your interest in OLGC's Hospital Ministry,
  which serves Chilton Medical Center.
  
  This is a once a month position. Volunteers attend the 8am Mass on the days they are serving
  the 'Sending Forth' is celebrated at the end of Mass.
  
  Volunteers MUST have the COVID vaccine and booster shot as well as the Flu vaccine. Proof of vaccination is required. A background check will be performed by the hospital. The parish office has the paperwork available for pickup.
  
  Volunteers are also required to have a current Atlantic Health Badge. If you do not have a current badge
  or if you are new to the ministry, please let us know and we will make the necessary arrangements.
  
  Members of the ministry must be trained as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. This training will be provided at OLGC by appointment.
